Join us this summer for the Canoe Centre’s immersive Summer Adventure Camps! - where wild water, teamwork, and nature-based skills come together for an unforgettable week of outdoor fun.
Our camps are designed for young adventurers aged 11-17, and no prior experience is needed. Across the week, campers will enjoy a balanced program of paddling, river skills, bushcraft, and expedition challenges that build confidence, resilience, and real outdoor know-how.

Camp Weeks & Details
- Duration: 5 Days
- Hours: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm daily
- Ages: 11-17 years
- Price: €249 per camper + sibling discount where applicable
- Early Booking: €50 deposit secures your spot before 28th February
What Happens at Camp?
Each day offers a mix of action, skill-building, and connection with the outdoors
Morning & Afternoon Sessions
- River Paddling: Kayaking, rafting and water play
- Bushcraft & Wilderness Skills: Campfires, shelter, navigation, camp cook
- Team Challenges & Exploration: Practical adventure tasks
Campers together will take part on a mini expedition, a great icebreaker, in a fun, supportive adventure trip, where they will be introduced to creative camp cook skills.

Our instructors are experienced outdoor practitioners who teach with safety, encouragement, and enthusiasm, helping every camper grow skills and confidence on and off the water.
All Gear Provided
We supply all technical equipment for water sessions - from helmets and buoyancy aids to paddles and clothing, so campers can focus on the experience.
Outdoor-Ready Camp Culture
Canoe Centre camps are about connection to nature. We dress for the weather, learn real skills, and build a mindset of curiosity and resilience both on and off the water.
What Campers Should Bring
Every day is outside, so do come prepared!
Essentials
- Packed lunch + snacks
- Outdoor clothing for all conditions
- Swimwear for under wetsuits
- Old runners or wetsuit shoes (no sliders/sandals)
- A sense of adventure
Facilities
We have changing areas, a sauna & onsite parking, Mill Lane Café for snacks, tea & coffee.
